They understand their audience.
Ad breakdown
This is one of the launch ads for their new Big Pants product and they do everything a great ad should do, in my opinion.
Yes, they’re top of funnel and need supporting by a full funnel of ads on paid social but they’re a really important part of the overall creative strategy, because…
They immediately tell their audience ‘we understand’.
And that’s huge for building trust, especially with parents who are feeling tired, stressed and like the last thing they need is to be advertised to.
So, here’s why I think it works…
👉 The headline grabs the attention of the right people FAST
👉 The copy speaks to an emotional moment EVERY parent has experienced and instantly makes them feel seen, heard and not alone
👉 The image plays into the emotion of that moment, a look that says ‘I know I’m annoying but look how cute I am’
👉 The product name is used as an adjective rather than pushing a hard sell
👉 Clever product placement that gets the brand name in there again without feeling forced or overly engineered
These ads are what great insight-led creative looks like.
Every single detail has been considered with the overall concept in mind, not too much and not too little.
